17th December, 2017, at the conference room of the west campus, Anqing Foreign Language School observed the grand opening of the thesis proposal seminar concerning the research topic of educational information technology in Anhui Province with the title of ‘Online Comprehensive Assessment Research of Junior High Students’ Development in Cyberspace’. Deputy Director Jiang Hao with Municipal Modern Education& Technology Center attended the conference. Also in attendance were 15 officials, including Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli, experts outside the research team as well as principle members from the research group.
First of all, the seminar was chaired by Project Director& Principal Assistant Lu Dan. After announcing the provincial project approval notice, Principal Assistant Lu Dan proceeded a comprehensive report in eight aspects as follows: project introduction, definition of core concepts, research objects and contents, research thoughts, research methods and implementation steps, task allocation, anticipated outcomes and safeguard mechanism.
Second of all, panel members  Principal Huang Zuning and Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong put forward some suggestions in terms of target location, research strategies, research techniques and expected results, which not only broadened the thoughts of group members and all teachers present, boosted their confidence, but also laid a favorable foundation for the research project in the next phase.
Third of all, after checking the thesis proposal earnestly, Deputy Director Jiang Hao expressed that the task application was supposed to seize the development tendency of education and teaching against the background of the current educational informationization. In addition, the project mainly centered on the deep integration of teaching and information technology, the transformation of educational model as well as the implementation and research of teachers’ information literacy and skill upgrading. Moreover, the topic selection should be forward-looking, targeted and comprehensive. The prospective research assignments depended on concrete research contents, detailed process design, rational research team structure, potent supporting measures in addition to powerful maneuverability.
To conclude, Vice Director Jiang Hao conducted extensive and in-depth exchange with research group members and raised feasible recommendation and advice on result presentation and expected promotion.
